Kathleen Roberts

Kathleen is an associate in our Family Law Team. Kathleen completed her law degree at the University of Waikato in 2017. After graduating, she received a Prime Minister’s Scholarship to study environmental law in New Zealand and Chile, spending two months at the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso. She submitted her findings to the Prime Minister.

In 2018 Kathleen began her legal career at the Tauranga Family Court as a Court Registrar with the Ministry of Justice. That experience gave her practical insight into Family Court processes and procedure. She was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2020.

Kathleen focuses on Family Court work and offers legal aid representation. She is approachable, thoughtful, and detail focused, and she works to make every meeting clear and constructive by listening closely and asking the right questions.
