Rakaia is a Director at Hine Eagle and a dedicated advocate primarily practicing in the Family Court. She has a strong focus on protecting vulnerable individuals and is appointed by the Court to represent children. She also receives appointments to advise and represent clients under the Mental Health, Compulsory Assessment and Treatment, Act.

With a specialty in litigation and dispute resolution, Rakaia brings extensive experience across a wide range of Family Court matters. She is widely regarded as a strong and compassionate advocate, committed to achieving the best outcomes for her clients. In addition to her Family Court work, Rakaia also practices in the criminal jurisdiction, regularly appearing in the District Court as a duty solicitor.
